A Work of Art

Each Loon or Duck created by Jake Froese is a work of art.  Jake carves each bird by hand without the use of patterns or fixtures.  This causes each bird to be slightly different from the one before it.  

A Documented Birth

The bottom of each bird is marked by Jake with his name, the month and year it was carved, the serial number for the year, as well as the city in which it was carved.  Jake also writes down the type of wood he used to make the bird.
